WELCOME TO THE
HEALING MAT
A space to pause, breathe, and reconnect. A place to remember your natural capacity for peace, healing, and inner balance.
At The Healing Mat, I offer gentle hatha flow, restorative yoga, and yoga therapy to support both body and mind. Whether you join me in Horsham, West Sussex, or online, each session is an invitation to slow down, soften, and listen inwardly.
Rooted in the practice of Metta Bhavana, cultivating loving-kindness towards ourselves and others; this work is guided by compassion, presence, and deep respect for your individual journey. Classes are designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re navigating stress, hormonal changes, fatigue, menopause or emotional overwhelm.
Blending traditional yoga with trauma-sensitive awareness and therapeutic insight, I create a space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. This is an opportunity to reconnect with your body, calm the mind, and trust your inner knowing.
If you’re seeking stillness, strength, or a sense of belonging, The Healing Mat offers a gentle path back to yourself, within a nurturing and compassionate community.

The journey of self-discovery is an unfolding, a gentle peeling back of layers to reconnect with our truest nature. Through the practice of yoga, we begin to listen inwardly; the body becomes a teacher, guiding us toward awareness and presence. Meditation invites us into stillness, where we can meet the quieter truths that lie beneath thought and emotion. The exploration of yogic texts deepens this journey, offering ancient wisdom that mirrors our modern experiences and reminds us of our shared humanity. Together, these practices form a living dialogue between body, mind, and spirit. A compassionate inquiry into who we are beneath the noise, and a return to the heart’s quiet knowing.
